Andrew Woodman

Andrew (Andy) Woodman is a worship leader based in Milton, north of Cambridge, England.

Andy has been leading Christian bands and worship in Christian settings since the age of 15. After a period spent at the Soul Survivor Church in Watford in 2002, alongside other worship leaders such as Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and Martyn Layzell, he returned to his home town. He was involved in a variety of projects including All Saints at 7 (AS@7), a contemporary service based in the Parish Church in Milton[1] and youth and pastoral work. Andy was also involved in leading a city-wide band formed for the CRAVE project, an initiative to reach those aged 18–25 who are no longer in education. Andrew spent a year (2007)studying at Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney Australia, where he majored in worship and creative arts with an emphasis in acoustic guitar. It was there that he became engaged to his lifetime friend Jo Woodman (also from England) who is now his wife. He also often visits other churches and bands to teach them about worship, presenting seminars on topics such as Band Dynamics.

Andy's début album, Empty Handed, was released in 2004, containing 9 tracks. The limited edition contained photos of him posing nude and visibly aroused outside various schools in Cambridgeshire.
